Find a Site

To quickly find a site in the Sites tab you write the text to search for in the Find... textbox left of the Find... button and click on the Find... button. If any site domain address contains the text string, that site will be selected in the Sites tab.

Filter... and Find... buttons have context menu and the Filter/Find text box has keyboard shortcuts that can be handy.

However, for more search option you can click on the Find... button to display the Find Site dialog.

Find Site Dialog

You enter the search text in the Enter text to search for in the site address textbox. You can define the scope of search by selecting either Filtered list or Entire list radio buttons.

• Filtered list: Only the current filtered site list will be searched
• Entire list: Entire KnowboForm database will be searched

Type of matching can be specified by selecting one of the following radio buttons:

• Matches partly: Site will be found if any part of it's address contains the search string.
• Begins with: Site will be found if it's address starts with the search string.
• Matches with: Site will be found if it's address exactly matches with the search string.

Find Context Menu

Filter... and Find... buttons have context menu and the Filter/Find text box has keyboard shortcuts that can be handy. Find Context menu options are described below:

• Find in Filtered List: If a search text is entered in the text box left of the Find... button (see the figure at the top) selecting this option would search a site within the filtered Sites list. The first site of which the domain address contains the search string is selected.

• Find in Entire List: If a search text is entered, this option would search a site within the entire database. The first site of which the domain address contains the search string is selected. If a filtered list is displayed the filter is cleared out first and the entire site list is displayed.

• Find Dialog...: Display the Find Site dialog box (shown above).
